Cumberland Falls State Park. Centerpiece of this resort is the second largest waterfall east of the Mississippi. Camping, rafting and canoeing are offered. 17 miles of hiking trails. Sheltowee Trace Outfitters is located off State 90 near Corbin.
This is also a great outing for families. Places to stay besides Cumberland Falls State Park include the Cumberland Inn (& Museum - which contains hundreds of animal specimens from both Africa and the Arctic in the Henkelmann Life Science Collection, and the Carl Williams Cross Collections featuring more thant 7,000 crosses) in Williamsburg. Williamsburg also is home to Cumberland College which owns and operates the Athenaeum Restaurant (Exit 11 off of I-75). .
